Ritualistic Human Sacrifice by C.V. Hunt is one of the most entertaining and messed up books I have ever read. Needless to say, I could not put it down.

The book is about a man named Nick Graves. And he’s a bit of an asshole. He is a man that is about to divorce his wife after his hatred for her has reached unresolvable levels.

The problem is Nick’s wife has revealed that she is pregnant with their first child. The surprise happens before he gets to break the news about wanting a divorce.

Nick is livid. He makes a deal with his wife. Since she decided to make a life-changing decision without him knowing than he gets to make one as well.

The decision he makes is to move them far away from all friends and family. He thinks this is his way of getting back at her.

Little does he know the neighborhood and the people in it are not your common townsfolk.

Everyone Nick and his wife come across are very strange. They all seem to have their own plans for their new neighbors.

Disclaimer: Ritualistic Human Sacrifice will not be for most readers of SeftimorLive.com. I tend to push my limits when reading horror. This book does exactly that.

The novel will gross you out, make you cringe, and keep you entertained the entire ride.

Ritualistic Human Sacrifice has more violence and sex than I have seen in most horror novels. I immediately bought Hunts other novel Cockblock to see what else this mind could muster up.

The thing about Ritualistic Human Sacrifice is that, while shocking, it never hinders the story. And it is written incredibly well.

The book is straightforward and in your face, but it’s also hilarious and makes you think at times.

In 2019, I have never devoured a book as fast as I did with Ritualistic Human Sacrifice. Even if the main character is one I hated, there were also times I identified with what he was going through. What that says about me is another story, but I assure you, this book will have you going through every emotion.

C.V. Hunt is officially an author on my list of must reads for the future.
