Weights/Cardio vs. DDPYOGA:
On Episode 3 of The B+ Podcast, we discuss what tactics and routines we are using to get in shape for the summer. Do we prefer weights/cardio or a more full body (no weights) experience like DDPYOGA?
I have a wedding coming up this October and I am working on getting back in shape. The struggle I have with my weight has been a lifetime battle. I have been super skinny, obese, and somewhere in the middle. The primary goal of this year is to get back into the shape I was when I met my fiance 8 years ago.
I have always been in the weight room and hitting up cardio on the machines.
In the past couple of years, I have been doing DDPYOGA. The workouts are challenging and leave you feeling amazing. You feel fantastic after hitting the mat and getting the workout done. DDPYOGA is one of the best fitness programs ever created.
But after a few months of doing strictly DDPYOGA, I start to miss the weights and the social aspect of belonging to a gym. Bodybuilding type workouts are something I have done since I was 15 years old.
There is also the debate of cardio. Is it better to do more cardio or restrict calories to where cardio is used solely for cardiovascular health?
Nasum has been crushing it lately with his weight loss and he discusses that. He describes what he has been doing since the summer to drop unneeded weight and the struggles he went through to do that.
So sit back, relax, and enjoy the newest episode of the podcast!
