Content Creation: How Streaming Has Helped Me:

I have been contemplating lately about my come back to the streaming world and how it helped me create more content.

If you didn’t know I did stream on Twitch back in 2015.

The problem was I didn’t treat it in a serious manner. I did not have a schedule and I didn’t stream with a consistently.

I discovered Professor Bromans Podcast in December 2017. It reignited that fire to start up my stream again.

Side Note: The advice given on Bromans Podcast is priceless. I recommend it to anybody that is into creating content in any form.

If you have been following me this past year, you know I have put out content on many platforms.

I started this website, a YouTube Channel, and a podcast.

As with my stream in 2015, I wasn’t as consistent as I should’ve been. I would put out content whenever I mustered up the energy to do so.

Throughout the year I met a lot of cool people in the space that I now call friends.
The problem I had is that, in a year, I wasn’t gaining much traction.

I was inconsistent but when I put out something it didn’t do very well.

I am not complaining about this at all. The space of content creation is a long and hard road.

If I am honest with you than I can tell you I didn’t produce on weekends. They are the time when I could’ve produced the most. I chose not to and to hang out with friends.

It Feels Like The First Time:

When I got back into streaming in December 2017, I fell in love all over again.

The best part about it was that I was creating the most content on the weekends.

As I said above, I couldn’t say that the past year for anything I was producing.

The past year, I would churn out as much as I can Monday thru Friday. I took weekends off to go out with friends which left me tired all weekend.

The great thing about streaming is that even if I am little tired I am addicted to it.

I still hit that Go Live button because I want to be there for my community.

They expect me to hang out as much as I can and I expect to deliver that to them.

I do take time on weekends to hang with friends and family. But I still produce content no matter the length of it.

When I am not live on weekends, my brain is asking why I’m not. To me, this is a good thing.

It means I may have finally found where I belong.

Finding Our Why:

At the end of the day, this is all about trying and failing to find our space in this world.

• What is it that we are looking for?

• What is the one thing we love so much that we can do on days when we may not be feeling like it?

• What is that space in life that we can produce every single day and not only on weekdays?

For me, that was through streaming on Mixer.

Not only do I go live six days a week, I am producing more on all my platforms.

Being a broadcaster has made me regain my love for the work. Whether that is in the background or being in front of an audience.

Creating Content On One Platform Increased My Production Across All Platforms:

Streaming for people on Mixer has helped my content production is a lot of ways.

Every single day I go live I am having real genuine conversations with people.

Sometimes it’s your typical banter, but sometimes we go deep.

These conversations spark my mind to think about topics that I can write about.

I am helping real people with real problems, not only playing video games.

Networking is one of the biggest parts of success in any content creation platform. Every day I am networking with real people… LIVE! It doesn’t matter if its one person or a thousand, the community building never stops.

What I do different is creating deep content based on the conversations I have every day.

All We Need Is Passion And Patience:

In the past 3 months, I have put out more content on ALL platforms than I have in the past year.

I owe it all to starting back up with streaming and the real-life connections.
I have finally found a place I can create on that matters.

If I was to wake up tomorrow and didn’t have the same passion for it, I would try something else. I would take that shot at another endeavor and use everything I learned up to that point.

Every single piece of content I produce is a product of work and learning.
Where might that be tomorrow? Who knows….but I will NEVER quit!
